Interesting

Doesnt really match my melodic preference, but that by no means makes it bad. It has a very eerie feel to it, which as the 2 reviewers below me stated, would make a good boss/creepy fight song. Very nice job! :D

Hello :D

Alright! lets get down to business. The pad in the into seems to overpower the piano a liillll bit. Im diggin the ambient bongo's. I really cant pick out much else about this. i wish you would have incorporated that piano part a bit more in the piece because i felt that it was the nicest part of the song. but thats just my personal preference. overall, very nice job. look at some of my stuff if you get the time :D

Okay

This isnt horrible. It actually might sound pretty good. but i cannot get past the horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible mastering job. There's notes clipping constantly XD at least throw a limiter or a compressor here and there! If you can make it bearable to listen to, then I might be able actually enjoy the music you are putting forth. Please fix this up, because it isnt bad! :D

Heres a legit mix of the song. not a ripped midi file.

Coolz

Its a nice well constructed tune. Very slightly bland though. try squeezing in a little more harmony variation. but overall, i like it alot :D

check out some of my stuff if you get the time :D

Its a cut so expect that i guess,
I noticed there are also a few sounds (reverb, delay) that are difficult to hear since its at a low quality.

Very nice :)

A bit bass heavy in my opinion until like halfway through. The bass was even clipping at parts. haha. but given that this is one of your earlier pieces, i dont blame ya. XD But i very much like what you have done with this song. I especially liked your captivating intro :)

I mixed this and a couple other SM64 songs also, check them out if you have the time :D

heyy man

i like what you got here. I think you should have used a better piano instrument tho.

check out my dire dire docks mix too if you got the time. i tried to make it a dance style too :D

Pretty :)

Critiquing time :D Alright, for the intro, can i suggest putting an echo or reverb on the strings rather than have that muted absolute silence. Cuz its a pause that stands out too much, and its not in a good way. Everything else is fine with me until about 0:51 when the oooh/aaah's come in. Just a personal thing, i would really like them to sound more crisp. they sound like they're flooded. Then at 1:48, i think it would be beneficial to have at least a light delay on the piano, and you have another whole 1 second pause from 2:02-2:03. Naturally fading instruments sounds much nicer than dead air. Then again, its your choices to make, not mine. im just giving my opinion. :)

Putting my little problems aside, You have a VERY beautiful piece here. Nice work!

A nice variation

I like what you have here, however it is a little repetitive. You did maintain the relaxing feeling with this song with your rather beautiful echoing piano. but as for the creativity added into it, you seem to only have added in 2 drum loop variations. Also, at the end, it cuts out very abruptly. This is a very awesome song to start with, so it is even more hard to add in your own variations. So if you want to, i would suggest playing with it a little more. Change up some instruments maybe. try adding an additional harmony here or there. you never know, you might branch off into something even more epic.

~PS: I also made a dire dire docks remix. check it out if you have the time to. http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/281087 (remove the space)
